I need a style to make my own...
This is the place where you can personalize your profile!
By moving, adding and personalizing widgets.
You can drag and drop to rearrange.
You can edit widgets to customize them.
The bottom has widgets you can add!
Some widgets you can only access when you get a premium membership.
Some widgets have options that are only available when you get a premium membership.
We've split the page into zones!
Certain widgets can only be added to certain zones.
"Why," you ask? Because we want profile pages to have freedom of customization, but also to have some consistency. This way, when anyone visits a deviant, they know they can always find the art in the top left, and personal info in the top right.
Don't forget, restraints can bring out the creativity in you!
Now go forth and astound us all with your devious profiles!
Model: Shana C. This was shot in a special place. A place, where the model sometimes writes in her diary. She also wore the dress that belonged to her now deceased mother. So, in a way, this was a very special shoot for her. What's even more special, this was shot at the golden hour. So, this was a very special shoot for her, with a lot of emotional value. Not many people get to do a shoot like that. Also, for me this was special. It's not every day you can shoot with a model that reminds me so much of the models Julia Trotti has in front of her lens. Hope you enjoy and let me know what you think?
Well, it sure has been a long time since I last posted a picture up on DA. Even longer since I posted a new journal entry. So, there must be a reason for this sudden entrance of a journal, no? Right. I think for my followers and fans here on DA (admit it, more for legs, feet and nylon then the true art of photography...), there won't be much difference. Or not...
I have been so busy with my shoots as a hobby and my work, gaming (Diablo 3: Reaper Of Souls) and whatnot, that I decided to take a break from photography and gaming in the start of June. Until... who knows? Until the inspiration starts to push again like the desire to touch some beautiful legs. (Which in my case, has never happened and probably will never happen as long as I don't have a girlfriend. As a photographer, it's a big no no to touch your models like that!) It might be a month, or two, but sure as hell no less then a month. THAT, I'm sure off.
I'm planning to steer away from my current direction when it comes to photography. Sure, all my models are young, beautiful women with some very nice legs sometimes, sometimes (ok, mostly) covered in beautiful nylon/pantyhose. After my break, I will try to take on a more profound art direction. More black and white, more artistic pictures. I already have people lines up for shoots like: ballet in a dark and abandoned factory, a pure summer fashion country like shoot, with tall dry grass and a big straw hat, extreme makeup showing the theme of summer or fall, etc...
Mostly, unlike now, I will take my time. Right now, I'm fully booked and it's shoots like clockwork. (every weekend) When one drops out due to unforeseen (or foreseen but not told) circumstances, another one fills in the spot just like that. It's going really good. To good... It's like working at a factory. No longer is it pure fun, but it's the same thing over and over: book a girl who wants to do a shoot, that has no experience and just wants to have that experience in life and 5 minutes of fame in front of her girlfriends and friends. (or an easier ticket to a relationship... remember that trick girls! There is no better way to drive guys nuts about you then to show how dangerously popular or beautiful you can be.) There is no real theme (except the pantyhose sometimes) or depth anymore. Sure, I make nice pictures, but that's it.
So, I hope to chance that. It might take weeks to prepare for a shoot, but I will take it one at a time and prepare like it's the most important job of my life. And maybe, just maybe, I will start to take up filming to with my DLRS. For those of you intrested, I already made a small videoclip. Inspired by Dan from Julia Trotti Photography. (lol, to bad I can't tag people like I do on Facebook.) I already have some cool music lined up. And some cool idea's. My brother drives an Audi A4 S-Line with some tuned parts. (wheels, windshield, etc...) So I might make a "commercial" like movie about that, with some cool movie music from Two Steps From Hell.
I just want to get off the current path. Because honestly, I'm starting to draw the wrong kind of crowd. No offense, but if I want to be a better photographer, I need to make better connections, learn the finesse tricks of the trade and really be inspired, not by legs or pantyhose but by clothing, settings, themes and other photographers. If this sounds cocky, then yay. Because it's all that I have left to be sometimes.
As a closure, I present to you my little "fashion" movie, inspired by DAN. It's shocky sometimes, and edited and recorded like a newbie.... but, it's a start!! And the music could be more joyfull according to some people, but don't worry, already got that covered for my next movie!
